Somehow this song from Rihana had caught my attention and somehow I felt much related to the lyrics. Although this song is actually referring to a guy, I personally think it doesn't really matter because the message that was trying to be conveyed can be applied to both males and females. Read through the lyrics and I am sure you had gone through something like this throughout your relationship or friendship. The lies, the show and all those anger mounted from it. You just want it to be over and done. Just read through, you'll understand what I'm talking about.

Behind the scenes

Wow it’s been freakin long time since I posted anything on this blog. For now my live is a bit crazy. Juggling my studies, work, pastries, assignments and my errands, it’s a lot and I had recently fallen sick so often that it is now a normal thing for me. However it is, life must go on. So here are some updates of my self. Remember that I wrote on my last post that I was an extra for Sazzy Falak, the episode was aired last week on Astro. Hahahh I looked very funny.

Last week I was involved with another production. This time it was a radio ad on fly fm for Gloria Jeans Coffees, it is my very first time recording for a radio ad and seriously it was bloody damn hard! The worse part is I think I sounded like a chipmunk! So please listen to fly fm any day and maybe you would hear my chipmunkie voice promoting the Gloria Jeans Coffees Ramadhan set menu. By the way please don’t laugh until you crash your car ya (for those who might be listening while they are driving) Here are some pics taken on the recording day.

Aside from the crazy traffic caused by the road blocks around KL due to Anwar Ibrahim's sodomy trial i had a very good day. Can you imagine i was stuck in traffic jam for an accumulated 6 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!! damn 6! blew up 50 bucks on petrol and had to take 4 actifast today. The only thing that made me very happy today is that both of my pastries came out well. We were taught to make fruit tarts and chiffon cake today. The chef actually ate my tart! he didn't even try any other people's tarts and he said i made the best fruit tart and chiffon cake in class! Such a big compliment to me and the best part is he said the way i decorate my fruit tart is very very good. The chef called my tart as his favorite tart hehehhe i was so proud and happy. Many of the other students took pictures of these tart as well. I had to wrap it with plastic as i didn't want the tart to break. (i really i have to start bringing containers to class)

Well the chiffon cake was rather a boring topic but he also said i made the best one in class as the cake did not flop and very fluffy. I am really enjoying my self in class, i wish i had this same passion in class when i was in UIA but im very sorry to say, i don't. sigh...

Fast Updates!

Hi everyone! I had been disappearing for some time leaving my blog updated. Sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Life had been very busy these few weeks, packing and moving permanently to Kaye Residence, working and going to school.

Apart from STILL studying in UIA I am also studying part time at Taylor’s School Of Hospitality which I am taking a Cert in Pastry making and GOD I am enjoying my self very much there. Yay! My station partner is an Indian lady name Sue which of coz reminded me of Suraya hahaha. She is such a nice lady, very knowledgeable and very pleasant. I enjoyed her company very much.

Yes as some had already knew, now I’m working part time as a barista for Gloria Jeans Coffee in The Curve. I love working there, it’s so much fun and being a barista is a really fun job! Everyone knows I’m a coffee addict so working in a coffee shop is really like a greedy dream coming true hahha. So pleaseeeeeeeeeee come and visit me here. I am working all day on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, night shifts on Wednesdays and morning shifts on Thursdays and Tuesdays. Some people would be asking “has Kaye fallen from grace? Working in a coffee shop!” hahahha that’s funny coz I do feel like I had fallen from grace but hey, it’s a very fun job and I’m doing this so that I can learn more about the FnB business, besides honestly I need to get money to pay my for huge self maintenance…sigh.. I am pretty sure that I am not ashamed to say that yes I finally realized that I need to make some money on my own.

FYI this Gloria Jeans branch is a set for an Astro production, so every week you can spot a few celebrities shooting here. I was an extra for one shoot two days ago with Sazzy Falak. I have got to say that she is such a wonderful actress and a really nice person and oh yeah, HOT!!!!!! Aleezza Kassim was here for a shooting the day before as well and she is smoking hot! I hope they don't sue me for telling everyone that they are shooting here !

On the 29.07.08 was Amir’s 23^rd birthday and I brought him some muffins to celebrate coz I didn’t have any time to get him anything proper. Hope he had a wonderful time at Italianese without me :-(. Well happy birthday Amir!!!!!!!!!! the picture was censored due to their personal request hahha.

By the way Gloria Jeans Coffee is looking for more baristas, so anyone who is interested which is fun, good looking (the boss said so) and pleasant is very much welcome to join us here. I was quite pissed off coz I made dinner and my sister said she got a class to attend tonight. Sigh, she could have told me earlier. A Birthday Feast

Whenever I feel a bit off I usually turn all my negative feelings towards cooking. As i had wrote earlier, today will mark one year since the day mummy went home.

I woke up pretty late, took a bath and went to the whole seller. Bought some groceries and started cooking. I decided that today we will celebrate my brother in law's 38th birthday :-).

Ok this may sounded crazy but I kinda made all these food in the picture below myself. Yup I can cook! Yay! I made a feast for my family, we ate happily and thank god we finished everything. I’m not gonna list down what I cooked for this celebration coz I don’t want people to get the idea that I’m bragging but you all can guess it from the picture right? heheh feast your eyes!
