This is Funny and Scarry

This video was not shot by me. It shows a plane trying to land. Scary but funny at the same time and definitely will make me think a few thousands times before i would fly with this airline.

Credits to Fira for sending me this video and credits to the person who shot this video as well.

Divisadero

I managed to finish reading a book today. The title of the book is “divisadero”, and yes I know you would think it’s so Indian. Yes the name may reminded you of a Curry house somewhere (well, I did hahahah)

This book was written by Michael Ondaajte which I’m sorry to say this. It took me sometime to actually remember that he also wrote The English Patient which was then made into a movie. Apparently he is very famous and I feel quite ashamed of my self for forgetting it, after all The English Patient movie was one of my favourite movie; and before you even asked, yes I do love those really slow movies.

In short the book is about 3 siblings which grew up together and then later got separated after a terrible traumatic experience. That’s all I’m telling ya! Go and get the book your self and read it. It’s kinda slow, but it was beautifully written.

The Kite Runner's sibling

The kite runner made quite a stir in the market lately. With the movie which came out not long ago and Khaled Hosseini promoting the Kite Runner’s sibling “A thousand Splendid Suns” the stir continues and continues. Wow I bet he is making tons of money as we speak. Hehehe.

A thousand splendid suns like its sibling the kite runner is a story that evolved in the setting of Afghanistan. Hosseini the writer has done it again.. Although I had read halfway to chapter 2 I gotta admit that this second book is really good. I love the colourful settings, the beautiful descriptions of Afghanistan and its culture, but what I love the most is how he depicted the violence that we all never knew was happening or even existed in Afghanistan before it was invaded. (If it was true)

This second book is as “splendid” as its title. I suggest you to pick up the phone and reserve one copy for your self now….or else you will regret it! Like my best friend and I love to say! “Buy! Buy! Buy! Buy!” hahahaa

My dream

So I am pretty sure some people are getting bored with my Shopping, Shopping and shopping entry. I am pretty sure that some people are thinking what a materialistic person I am. Hmm ok maybe I am at times but not all the time. Today I will not brag about what I already got but instead I will brag about what I dream off having /getting one day; with my own money with my own sweat. No not from mum and dad's a/c.

I will start with this bag. It is something that I would buy to mark my independent self and celebrating my youth. It’s a Louis Vuitton Keepall 45 which I checked 4 days ago worth RM 3850 but I doubt it would cost as such in 3 years time. Probably higher later but its ok.

this is probably keepal 50 or 55 im not sure, keepall 45 is smaller than this but looks the same.

The second thing i want to get for my self is a Tissot Clasic Prince. I dont know the price but i guess it would be around 1k. i had always been in love with this watch and was once offered by my dad as a birthday present but i refused because to me this is my dream and keeping it as a dream would mean so much more in the process of growing, both as a person and as a son. Although its not that expensive but i fell in love with it when i was 16 and i still do....

Tissot Classic Prince

There is a along list to be written here if I really want to write but I will save it for later. Those two items are in my priority list besides from subjects such as cars, wife, kids, house, you know those every human needs. This is why it is called a dream coz you don’t really need it you just want it!

Mum and Dad

I gotta admit that I had written nothing about my family in this blog. So here is something about them. Continuing with the story of my shopping adventure in KLCC on Saturday here are untold plots that involved my parents.

On top is mum and dad at LV

Spotted at Louis Vuitton is MR and MRS Hasib along with their two daughters and their only son (hey that’s me! That’s me hahaha). Mum wanted a bag from there. After LV and a few other shops, dad just couldn’t resist buying dinner wares from Royal Doulton shop which he bought massive amount of Royal Albert dinner wares for extensive amount of money (sounded like buying sinner wear then dinner ware, ps:he is so gonna kill me if he heard that!).

this is the "sinnerware" design and the paper bags in this picture is only 1/3 of it.

Then we got my stuffs at Desigual and some more stuffs for my two little sisters. On the way back dad and I went to one of the art gallery and we found these really amazing and beautiful paintings. It’s an original art pieces by a Malaysian artist. 6k for 3 original paintings are quite a bargain for us art lovers. As I learnt from my mistake with the glass palace I won’t disclose the location of the art gallery and the artist name. heheeh.

Ps: mum doesn’t know about the paintings. She is gonna kill us both if she finds out. The paintings will remain in the gallery until a suitable time is found for its removal or should I say “be bought with mild fabrication of truth”.

Designer I Love - Desigual

I went shopping last Saturday and couldn’t find anything to buy for my self. Either I already owned those or my parents wouldn’t approve. That is how it is when you shop with your parents. hehehe but it was fun tho. So we went browsing and looking from A (Armani) to Z (Zegna) then I came upon DESIGUAL. Desigual is a brand from Spain. The designs are basically what I would call JINJANG and SG. WANG orientated however underneath those JINGJANGNESS are some very beautifully crafted shirts and interesting t-shirts. So to end the story I got my self some stuffs from there. Surprisingly we didn’t break the bank to buy those. Hahaha. I really like the label that was sown on the shirt, it’s a robot! Yay! Check out their webbie at http://desigual.com

the pic is unclear coz its from my phone.

Fashion Smashion

Here is the thing. I don’t understand why women or girls are sometimes so stupid at picking up what they wear. I was at the KLCC parking bay last saturday and I saw this unknown women wearing this hideous legging. Guess what ITS BRIGHT MC DONNALS YELLOW! For God's sake just go jump a building and die so that your soul can come out of your body and take a look at your self coz the mirror definitely wasn’t working well for you miss. I don’t think that yellow legging goes well with that black and white look you are trying to pull. Even my 50 year old mom knows that. I’m sorry but you look like one of those wannabe celebrities that thinks you can get away with murder by wearing something like that. Sorry you are obviously not Lindsay Lohan.(even she couldn’t get away with what you pull)
